Hi, I'm Sam
Find me on
I'm a software engineer working at the intersection of climate science and open-source tooling. Most of my work involves building software that helps researchers process, analyse, and understand large scientific datasets.
Outside of that I enjoy tinkering with hardware — things like LED matrix displays, MicroPython microcontrollers, and small embedded projects that scratch a curiosity itch.
What I Work On
Scientific Software
Open-source tools for climate and atmospheric research — data pipelines, model post-processing, and HPC workflows
Hardware & Embedded
MicroPython projects, LED matrix visualisations, and small devices that do something interesting
